We Are The Wall

An award winning magazine by the pupils of Ibstock Place School

We are a hub of creativity which fuses multiple talents to produce award-winning content on a yearly basis. We thrive as a team where editors gather to create original, exciting and topical magazine editions, often centring around a theme that they believe is extremely relevant and important.

We recruit writers, artists, poets, graphic designers, calligraphists, budding journalists, digital gurus and any pupils who have an interest or passion that they want to write about. We have something for everyone, and our aim is to make journalism accessible, engaging and relatable. The Wall wants everyone to have a say, share their story, and use their skills. Everyone has a voice, and The Wall simply projects theirs to an audience who will read their work, learn from it, feel inspired by it and maybe someday will write or create something they are passionate about because of it.
